Abstract

The first forms of dance manifestations are linked to the theater and, over time with the independence of form of artistic language, dance has acquired more and more space. And nowadays, its association with technology has generated the specific language of video dance, a complex and modern form of artistic, technological and audiovisual creation.
With the advent of electricity, the scenic work of art began to change and incorporate new technological tools for innovation in the scene, above all it transforms the public’s relationship with the stage and the public’s access to the scenic and audiovisual work of art.
In the twentieth century, the image became the center of attention either with the advent and consolidation of cinema, or in its incorporation on the stage and in its technological relationship with dance that resulted in this new artistic language.
With the impact of image culture and the intervention of new forms of artistic production, what makes us think about the concept of performance and ask about the nature of scenic artistic languages ​​combined with the digital world.
