Résumé

The digital revolution and the convergence of media have radically transformed the production, dissemination and consumption of information. This article explores how these technological changes have promoted a participatory culture where users take an active role. By approaching the human-computer interface, described by Manovich as “cultural interfaces”, and Castells’ concept of “autonomous mass communication”, we highlight the centrality of digital technology in the reconfiguration of social and cultural interactions. This study also emphasizes the importance of media convergence and virtualization, which have shaped contemporary times, creating an environment of constant connection and interaction. Digital culture also redefines interaction spaces and social roles, establishing a new dynamic where the local and the global intertwine in an unprecedented way.
