Résumé

Nabil Ayouch’s film Haut et Fort sensitively explores the educational potential of hip-hop culture in a context marked by the weight of tradition and social inequality. Through the character of Anas, a former rapper turned educator in a cultural center in Casablanca, the film highlights a process of transmission based on listening, creativity, and oral expression. Young people from marginalized neighborhoods find in rap a language through which they can express their dreams, anger, and hopes, while developing self-confidence, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the world. This paper analyzes how the film presents hip-hop as a pedagogical tool that fosters awakening, emancipation, and personal development in adolescents. Based on reception theory (Jauss), critical pedagogy (Freire), and artistic practices in education, the methodology combines film analysis (key scenes, dialogues, educational settings) and discourse analysis of the young rappers’ lyrics. The aim is to demonstrate how Nabil Ayouch’s cinema constructs an inspiring narrative of education through art, capable of giving voice and future to the youth.
